Turret Leveling for Optimal Accuracy
To avoid windage errors caused by canted scopes, you need to level your scope to the action during installation. Turrets should be plumb for best accuracy. Once that procedure is complete, a bolt-on scope level will let you level the gun in the field. However, some scopes have cross-hairs that are off-axis from the factory. This requires internal repairs by the manufacturer.
