Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has experience with 88gr Bergers through a 1:12 twist barrel ?
Walt Berger recommends a 1:10 twist, but I am wondering if it will also do well in a 1:12?

I have shot the 88's in my 12 twist 6BR and they worked well I do live at 6200' though and I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.I will also say that I shot the best group of my life with the Berger 80 in that same rifle an .057" f1ve shot group at 100yds.The BR is here to stay! TTFN Matt

Hi,
I'm at sea-level and temps are mild. So my hot loads are softer than yours. I'd need a 1:10. The reason I ask is that I have to import the Bergers and would like to know how they shoot before I get a 1000 over here. The 88 seems like a better choice for 600y, but appearances are sometimes deceiving...

Riverine,
The 80's that did so well in my 12 twist standard6BR were the .314bc version. My current 6BR is a 14 twist and the Cheek 66s are doing very well in it. TTFN Matt
